Congratulations also and a huge thank you to ALL the troupes who participated in this event. And to all of YOU who came out to laugh with us and to vote. It really was a great time for all involved. Let's do it again in the Summer!

Planet Ant Theatre and The Planet Ant Improv Colony are pleased to announce the return of our Annual Winter Colony Fest. The festival will take place at Planet Ant from Wednesday, January 21st, 2009 through Saturday, January 24th, 2009.
Iimprov troupes (not directly affiliated with Planet Ant) are eligible to compete. Previous winners (troupes and their members) are non eligible.
The finalists will be determined by audience voting from Wednesday, January 21st through Friday, January 23rd. The finalists will perform again on Saturday, January 24th for an audience that includes a Planet Ant panel of judges who will select the winner. The winning troupe will receive the "FABULOUS PRIZE" of a late night slot in the Planet Ant 2009 season directed by experienced Improv director Lauren Bickers!
If there are enough interested improv troupes, we may add Tuesday, January 20th to the schedule. This would also add a fourth finalist team!
Troupes interested in participating may reserve a performance slot with Festival Coordinator Dave Davies at ddavies5@gmail.com.
There is a $20 non-refundable registration fee and we ask that all performers and guests pay the $5 admission fee to help us in our fundraising efforts.
